A Metric Collar nut has a flanged rim at the bottom of the nut which acts as a non rotating washer, this allows the nut to spread the load of the applied pressure across the work piece.
The metric version of the flange collar nut is available in sizes from M4 to M36. The nut is manufactured from a high tensile steel with a chemically blacked finish.
