Technical Information
• The 5724-922 Magnetic Positioner is a heavy duty unit consisting of 2 magnetic blocks connected by 2 non magnetic steel straps
• The 5724-922 SU Magnetic Positioner is a single unit
• The blocks contain high performance Alcomax 3 magnetic material
• Each block has 2 magnetic faces (top & bottom)
• One of the 2 magnetic faces on each block is vee’d to accommodate round workpieces
• Each magnetic block is independently controlled by a switch located on the end of each block
• The blocks can be rotated through 360 degrees and can be securely locked into place by tightening a central nut
• Maximum operating temperature 200°C
• Switch control
Uses and Applications
• Used singly or as a pair the Eclipse Magnetic Positioner has a high magnetic performance enabling flat or circular components to be clamped for drilling, assembly, fabrication and weld preparation applications
